Meisam Gordan (Post Doctoral Researcher) - Transport Resilience, Intelligent Transport Systems

Dr. Meisam Gordan received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural health monitoring from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2020. He has been working with Structural Health Monitoring Research Group (StrucHMRSGroup), Advance Shock and Vibration Research (ASVR) Group, and University of Malaya Engineering Structural Health Monitoring (UMEngSHM) Group (https://umengshm.com/). He is a member of renowned institutes such as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), and Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). He has published over 20 articles in peer-reviewed scientific international journals in different fields such as Structural Health Monitoring, Signal Processing, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Vibration Control Systems, IoT, Big Data, Blockchain, Remote Sensing, Smart Cities, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Finite Element Analysis, and Materials. 

He has also contributed to the process of knowledge sharing through his role as the reviewer and editorial board member of well-known journals and conferences. His research interests include intelligent transport systems, transport resilience, smart cities, industry 4.0 technologies, transport infrastructure & bridge health monitoring. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College Dublin on a H2020 funded PRECINCT project (www.precinct.info/). The project is developing Serious Games using Digital Twin and Data Mining to assess Critical Infrastructure Protection to combined Cyber and Physical threats.
